Emotion is a pivotal force in shaping our deepest connections, driving motivation, and orchestrating the dance of intimacy and distance that defines a couple's interactional patterns.

EFCT places precedence on emotion not just as a pathway to understanding each partner's inner world, but as a vehicle for creating lasting, meaningful change within the relationship. Our Specialty:

Military and Ministry Couples

Life as a military and ministry couple comes with unique pain points that can contribute to creating challenges and disharmony in a family’s daily life. Brittany, Emovere’s founder, knows firsthand what it’s like to navigate these particular lifestyles, and she’s here to be your guide toward hope, healing, and growth.

Military Couples

Couples experience unique stressors of the active-military lifestyle that contribute to difficulties in the relationship including deployments, frequent moves (PCS-Permanent Changes of Station), financial stressors, parenting, adjusting to new places, creating home and family routines over and over in new places.

We’ll help you work through the emotions that all these stressors stir up, as well as equip you to understand how your ways of coping with these specific external stressors impact your relationship and contribute to disconnection. Let’s get started on the path to hope and healing.

Ministry Couples

Regarding couples in ministry, we understand how the demands of life as leaders of a church or ministry can contribute to disconnection in the relationship of couples and families. Long work hours for the spouse in ministry (or both if both are in leadership), work/life balance, issues of theology and beliefs about gender roles, parenting philosophies, spiritual practices, and issues of burnout or crises of faith for one or both.

Your life is dedicated to serving others, so let’s make space to care for you. Let’s get started.

It’s your time to flourish, together.
